river oeds, while tha finu mnteriilu like sand and silt roach Jocho Plain. Tha discharge capacity of all the crooks within 
ths Bacho Plain is not high enough to transmit the entire
flood, wnvj dawrn:troa-n, therefore thoir banks are overtopped and the plain is flooded, while the velocity of the water is further reduced* Dua to the axtrern jily ism ill water velocity, tha finer sediments (amd and silt) are sloe deposited on the plain and Ln the rivsr beds. Thun, the discharge capacity of
the main stream and tributary croeka io furthar reduced.
