Contract 2D - Melka Sadi Western Dyke

Progress: 16.4% fill placed, compaction techniques being improved
Delay: 1 week due to flooded borrow pits and bad weather
Payment: 18.9% of Tender Sum (Birr 540,042.00) certified
Additional Preliminary Works
- Project Control Centre Ancillary Buildings: Additional housing needed before Contract 4B completion (8 Type 'B' and 16 Type 'D' houses)
- Generators: Order placed for two 250 KVA generators (third to follow) to replace original 150 KVA plan
- Electrical Distribution System: Tender preparation underway for supervision housing portion
